Only one thing will help: sharp knives
In this coursewe will explain how you can give your kitchen knives a basic grind and keep them really sharp. We use water whetstones for this, but we also briefly show how knives can be sharpened on a machine. The workshop covers the basics and is aimed at beginners who have no experience with knife sharpening.
You can bring your own knives to the course so that we can all progress as quickly as possible, but chef's knives are best. Please do not bring huge blades (broadswords, lawn mower blades) or serrated blades (bread knives). The knives should also be sharpened on both sides (no scissors or sushi knives).
